Who we are and our history

MM Outreach

Keith and Lorri MacGregor originated MacGregor Ministries in 1979 offering biblical help in the defense of the Christian faith.

In June 2007 MM Outreach Inc was incorporated in Canada and in January 2008 MM Outreach was created as a charity work to carry on the ministry work in the USA. MacGregor Ministries was closed out in 2008 as a Canadian charity as the new Canadian and USA ministries took over the work. In the Spring of 2011 Keith and Lorri MacGregor resigned from our ministry boards and retired to the west coast of Canada.

The purposes of our ministry are to teach, preach, foster and promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the use of all forms of media including radio, television and the printed word; to provide religious and spiritual Christian counseling to persons and groups of persons in an interdenominational setting; to cooperate and contract with other religious groups and organizations to promote and teach Christian doctrine and principles; to produce and print religious material for distribution to the general public and to produce and distribute religious radio and television program material for broadcast and home use.

We believe if you have the right Jesus Christ, you are right for all eternity. But if you have the wrong Jesus Christ then you are wrong for all eternity.

Media Ministries Outreach

We are Richard and Cheryl Schatz, a Christian couple living in British Columbia, Canada who have been actively involved in ministering to former Jehovah's Witnesses. We have never been Jehovah's Witnesses ourselves, but we have a great deal of love and compassion especially for Jehovah's Witnesses who are contemplating leaving the Watchtower.

Since 1988 we have operated a recorded message for Jehovah's Witnesses that has seen over 83,000 phone calls up to March 2003. We have also had the privilege of leading a support group for former Jehovah's Witnesses since 1988. The support group has helped us to understand the dilemma of Jehovah's Witnesses when they come to realize that there is something not quite right with the Watchtower organization.

It is difficult for Jehovah's Witnesses to leave their family and friends behind when they come out of the Watchtower Society. It is also very difficult to sort out doctrinal issues that would allow them to feel comfortable enough to attend a Christian Church.

The purpose of our web site (jwinfoline.com) is to present Christian doctrine in a way that will allow Jehovah's Witnesses to better understand the Christian faith and how the Watchtower has indoctrinated their followers to be prejudiced against Christians and historic Christian doctrine. It is to this end that this web site is dedicated.

Our second website deals with a broader range of cults. You can view it at mmoutreach.org.

What we believe, our Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings.
  • We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. See the Doctrine of the Trinity.
  • We believe in the Deity of our Lord, Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; in His Miracles; in His vicarious atonement through His death and shed blood; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; in His Personal return in power and glory!
  • We believe that lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are unsaved unto the resurrection of damnation.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Our outreach to the lost.

  • We focus on a "personal relationship" with God through worship, prayer, and the teaching of the Word of God. We teach both expository and topical studies.
  • Although we do outreach ministry to our community, our main belief concerning evangelism is that "sheep beget sheep." We feel that if we feed the flock of God and keep a fire underneath them, they will in turn, be submitted to God and have a burden to lead others to Christ.

What We Hold To

  • The inerrancy of scripture.
  • The continuance today of the diversities of spiritual gifts as found in Corinthians 12:4-11.
  • A dependence upon the Holy Spirit to lead, rather than fleshly promotion.
  • The pre-millennial, pre-tribulation return of Christ for His waiting church.
  • The teaching of the Word of God in such a way that it can be applied to life as beneficial toward a growing maturity.

What We Reject

  • The teaching of "positive confession".
  • The belief that true-Christians can be possessed by demons.
  • "Dominion Theology".
  • Prophecy that supersedes biblical scripture.

The Purpose of our Ministry

  • To worship God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • To build up the Church of Jesus Christ through the teaching of the Word and the ministry of the spirit.
  • To persuade men and women to repent and confess Jesus Christ as their Lord unto eternal salvation
  • To help people come free of involvement in religious cult groups, and to warn the public and other Christians of the dangers of their heretical teachings.
  • At times, certain issues become controversial in the church. We feel it necessary to take a loving stand when the truth of the Scriptures is watered down or disregarded.
