JW's and the Real Jesus
JW's a Non-prophet Organization
Witnesses of Jehovah
The Witness at
The Witness Goes Out
(JW Child custody cases)
Are modern day Jehovah's Witnesses really in the right organization? According to Watchtower teachings Jesus Christ returned to the earth invisibly in 1874 to set up the kingdom. (Studies in the Scriptures, Vol. 4 (1917) page 621.)
At this time he observed the spiritual affairs of the earth and found favor with Pastor Russell and his Organization, the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. (The Finished Mystery page 386-387)
At this time in history, Pastor Russell was given the title of "the Faithful and Wise Servant", found in Matthew 2445-51. (The Finished Mystery page 613.)
Unfortunately, the Organization today which claims such a title, would not be the same Organization which the Lord Jesus Christ originally found favor with. Although they may claim that the "light gets brighter", the fact would be that the Lord apparently would have approved of the dim light. The actual teaching of
"light" at that time being the "Studies in the Scriptures" by Pastor Russell.
The Organization today differs greatly with that of the past. If a modern day Jehovah's Witness wants to live in the kingdom they had better return to the teachings of Pastor Russell as apparently they are the teachings that the Lord found favor with originally. However these teachings would be classified as ludicrous and blasphemous and even "pagan" today, yet they were what the Lord had apparently approved of.
So what will it be? If the Organization today is right then you lose because it isn't the one with God's apparent approval. However, if you go back to the original Organization you lose again because these teachings are pagan and false as proven by time and unfulfilled prophecies.
It's not enough to say that was "old light" and this is "new light". In fact the terms "bright light" and "dim light" are derived from Proverbs 4:18-19. Who does the
light get brighter for, according to Scripture? For the righteous or for the wicked? Who does the light dim for?
Does an organization which prophecies falsely fall into verse 18 or verse 19? It is obvious that Pastor Russell's teachings fall short and obviously didn't have God's approval, so which Organization really does have God's approval?
If you choose neither you win!
Jesus tells us in the Bible in John 14:6,
"...I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
This "organization" is the body of Christ. It is made up of all those individuals who pass the Bible "test" found in II Corinthians 13:5 and recognize the indwelling Christ in their lives.
If you want to be part of this true organization, then right now pray and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart, forgive your sins and be the Lord of your life. One day the Watchtower Society will fail you but Jesus Christ will never fail you.
I John 5:13 tells us that if you believe in the name of the son of God (that's Jesus),
"...you may know that you have eternal life."
We may know that this is a confirmed promise, not because we are trusting in ourselves and our abilities, or trusting an organization that keeps on changing, but because of the unchanging character of Jesus Christ, the one who,
"...is the same yesterday and today, yes and forever." (Hebrews 13:8).
