Dear friend, As Christians, our purpose for delivering this article is, because we are commanded by Jesus to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" Mark 16:15. The Biblical view of the gospel is that Jesus came, was crucified buried, and rose on the third day, being victorious over sin and death. 1 Cor. 15: 1-5. 1. The Bible first gives us a warning: It tells us that all have sinned and will be judged. Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Hebrews 9:27 says "It is appointed unto man once to die but after this, the judgment." 2. The Bible gives us secondly our invitation: 1 Peter 3:9 says "God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. In Mark 2:17 Jesus says "I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance." We are invited to come to Jesus Christ for salvation. 3. The Bible thirdly gives us a way: John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world (you and me) that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." When Jesus died on the cross He paid our penalty of sin in full, "For the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23. Jesus said "He that lives and believes in me shall never die." John 11: 25 - 26. The gift of salvation cannot be worked for or earned but freely accepted in faith. Eph. 2:8 - 9.
(1) Believe God's Word the Bible. (2) Repent of your sin: to be sorry for your sin, turn from your sinful life, and obey God's Word for your life. (3) Place your faith in Jesus, and trust Him for forgiveness of sin believing that they will no longer be held against you. By making Jesus LORD of your life, you willingly OBEY Him and become his SERVANT. |
